Learn about the history of health care legislation, recent GOP repeal and replace proposals, supporters and opposers to ACA and GOP plans, recommendations and advocacy techniques. Practice applying critical and strategic thinking to project the impact of laws and policies, and influence decision-makers.

MAP-IT (Mobilize, Assess, Plan, Implement, Track) is a framework to plan and evaluate public health interventions to achieve your organization’s objectives. MAP-IT is not complex and might easily be understood by our clients. MAP-IT is the tool recommended in the national health goals of Healthy People 2020 (you may need to click on the line with “Continue to the Healthy People 2020 Archive site.” Five dollars ($5, 14%) of each course’s fee is donated to the Community Tool Box (CTB) from which most of the course materials come. Continuing Education Self-study Courses with +/- 0.5 hours of reading assignments for total course units (CECHs and Continuing Competency Credits of 12 to 17.
