Get help asking the best questions to develop effective programs. You will get expert assistance using best practice approaches to mobilize people; assess needs and assets; find effective programs, policies, and services; and plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate those programs.

CHES®/MCHES® can earn Continuing Education Credit Hours (CECHs) from the National Commission on Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC). Participants study materials related to CHES®/MCHES® Professional Standards for evidence-based, evidence-informed, and theory-based best practices to effectively plan and manage programs, services, and policies to cost-effectively improve health. There are no time limits, and you study at your own pace.

Explore NCHEC-approved self-study courses for CHES® and MCHES®. 12 to 17 Continuing Education Credit Hours (CECHs), including up to 10 advanced-level CECHs for MCHES®. The cost per course ranges from $12 to $37 (refundable within 60 days of signup). Evidence- and theory-based health promotion and education strategies, services, and policies are studied for individual through public health issues. Topics include evidence-based health promotion strategies and policies for topics such as Healthy People national health goals, social marketing, gun violence prevention, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), national physical activity guidelines, and MAP-IT (Mobilize, Assess, Plan, Implement, and Track) program planning.
