Goal: The participant will be able to act as a partner, leader, and resource person to develop community health promotion/education programs related to the social determinants of health to help achieve the nation’s Healthy People goals and objectives.

Objectives: Participants will be able to provide expert assistance to:

• Identify public health priorities to help individuals, organizations, and communities across the United States improve health and well-being.
• List and describe objectives for the four life stages. All ages: infants, children, adolescents, and adults and older adults.
• Describe how the LHIs were selected and are connected to the Healthy People 2030 vision.
• Determine, for the populations with which you may work, which LHI national objectives you might use and how you might apply them.
• Promote Healthy People 2030 in your work.
