The Leading Health Indicators

opportunity to shift the nation
from a focus on sickness and
disease to one based on wellness
and prevention. The smaller set
of objectives give the public private, nonprofit
organizations and individuals
methods to reduce preventable
death, disease and disability in
the US must know and understand
to be able to implement and
evaluate evidence-based
interventions.
